Job Summary
This position is a new manager position within a rapidly growing cleaning and restoration company. Will be responsible for planning and ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and upholding strict compliance with industry standards for water and fire restoration, carpet/floor/tile cleaning, mold mitigation and remediation, odor control, etc. With a focus on quality service delivery, this position also nurtures client relationships and optimizes operational processes and effectiveness.
 
Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute restoration projects to completion and maintain project files.
  • Manage cleaning and restoration services to include resource management, staff performance and customer satisfaction, while focusing on operational efficiency and revenue growth.
  • Perform various cleaning and restoration services, including carpet and floor cleaning, water/fire damage restoration, mold mitigation and remediation, etc.
  • Schedule and dispatch crews and equipment to various job sites and coordinate site deliveries.
  • Manage inventory and maintenance of related cleaning and restoration supplies, tools, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Write job estimates, obtain written contracts, and follow up on payments for restoration projects.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Cultivate relationships of trust with customers, suppliers, and other industry-related professionals  that builds brand recognition, promotes public awareness and builds a positive reputation.
  • Attend company meetings, as required.
  • Maintain market leadership through continuous implementation of state-of-the-art technology as it pertains to the delivery of our services.
  • Maintain a high standard of service delivery, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
 Required Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • High School diploma (or GED)
  • 2+ years of proven experience within the restoration industry is required
  • One or more of the following Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certifications (IICRC): Water Restoration Technician (WRT), Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT), Texas Mold Remediation Contractor (MRC), Mold Remediation Specialist (MRS), Applied Structural Drying (ASD), Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT), Trauma & Crime Scene Technician (TCST), Odor Control Technician (OCT), and/or Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT)
  • Ability to work in the field for both cleaning and restoration jobs.
  • Understanding of project management, operational processes, and customer service.
  • Ability to solve problems, take initiative, and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and leverage data to increase business profitability.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing cleaning and/or restoration operations.
  • Leadership and social skills to manage both cleaning and restoration technicians.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or construction management.
  • Understanding of, and ability to, manage financial reports.
  • Appropriate math skills for project planning, resource allocation, and profit/loss projections.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the use of computers and computer software. Experience with Xactimate software is a plus, as well as project management software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
